Getting to know us

Welcome to Pages in Steel's Books.

This blog belongs to Steel's Used Books, a used (heavily Christian) bookstore in North Kansas City, MO.

The blog also represents what's happening at Steelsbooks.com, the web site created for the store.

The two primary contributors to the blog will be David Steel, the owner, and Bill Norton, a retirement-age shelf elf. We may post guests' writings. That's a maybe but who knows.

For now, we plan to write posts that help market the store and the website. With 70,000 volumes, with the biggest selection of used Christian books in Greater Kansas City, that means we have a whole lot of marketing to do.

Of course, neither of us know diddly about marketing. But we do want to keep this store afloat.

If you're in the area and want to drop by you can find the store at 214 E. 18th St., North Kansas City.
If you're itching to send us something, just add the zip, 64116.

  1. I just emailed you but thought you might enjoy a comment on the blog here. It's a nice look. Having a blog, too, I know how difficult it is to get people to read it and even more difficult to get anyone to comment on it. So...I read it and here's a comment. Hope to visit your store later this week with a load of books I hope you'll buy from me at whatever unique price you usually set. May God bless your work!

  2. BTW, feel free to check out my blog: discipleworldview.blogspot.com. As you'll see there, I'm about to publish a short book on Kindle/Amazon. Your thoughts and comments would be most appreciated.
